Bishop Jonathan Goodall, Bishop of Ebbsfleet and our Episcopal Visitor, made his first visit to the parish over the weekend March 15-16, along with his wife Sarah. He had valuable talks with the churchwardens Kay and Diana on Saturday evening, and also with the Reader, Jessica Smith. On Sunday morning he presided at the parish Mass, assisted by Frs Alwyn, Paul and Roger. This was followed by a splendid parish lunch in the Vestry Hall, and a meeting with members of the PCC.
It can truly be said that Bishop Jonathan encouraged us and strengthened our faith and commitment to live and proclaim the Gospel here in Easton. He will also be actively seeking to help us find a suitable Parish Priest. Our thanks to the Bishop himself, and to all who helped to make his visit so enjoyable.
